Squeeks are hard to find, this is for sure. I had one that Nav and I picked up in my steering wheel area enroute to the DRMR. It stayed the whole trip and disappeared when we returned to TX. Strange!

You might check a couple of things

1) Pull the dash panel and check to see that they installed the felt washers at each attachment point. These not being in place would cause a squeek. Not necessarily directional, but I would check this anyway.

2) Remove the steering column cowl plastic and drive around a bit. See if it disappears. You will need a torx (I think #20) to tackle this, and be careful when you separate the rear of the clamshell as it snaps together. When I installed my Mopar EVS alarm, I had to remove this piece. I had a squeek for a couple of days until I took it back off and reseated it. Turned out that I missed an alignment point and the plastic cowl was rubbing on the wheel.

3) Stay off Black Bear! :)

Happy New Year Chris to you and your beautiful family!!
