Hello all,
I am in the market to purchase the big D. Would anyone here be able to give me pointers on what I should look for?
I'm seeing all over the net various programs for buying the D at or near factory invoice, but none in my area, would they sell to me and then deliver to a dealer here in Upstate NY?
Also, I've read many debates over colors. Right now, my choices are Patriot Blue (which is a bit dark for my likeing) and Aquamarine. The D in my mind does not come in really cool colors except for CPR (cannot get that color, my GF does not like red). I'm going with having the dealer put a two-tone paint on the truck, both the PB and the AQ will have the Bright Platinum along the bottom, fenders and those plastic fender flares. Any other suggestions? Is there a paint that the D comes in that is easilly changed to another?
I also plan on customizing the truck afterwards with anything I cannot get the dealer to install. Basically, I do not want to go overboard on the truck, but make it still look like no other truck on the market.
Any thoughts on hoods? keep the original? or buy the really cool hood I found over at AAR? it's a 'retro' hood that was once on a 'Cuda (double hood scoops).
These any many more questions I have. I know I've created a debate... Heh...
