Hey, people sue for much less -- get it fixed! That sounds like a small claims court thing (actually, remember seeing a case on Judge Wopner -- he forced them to pay for the ding!)... When your finally do pay for the dings, wouldnt you want them to be your dings, and not someone elses ding? It can only hurt your resale value (and it can tarnish your relationship with your D, gotta treat her (or him) right)...
