I couldn't agree more! My mother-in-law (who has some coordinations problems) managed to chip up the paint with buckles on her shoes before I could get the guards installed. I have NO idea why they are not installed at the factory on ALL "D"s. For those who have not installed them, they are a "must have" from Mopar or any of the on-line automotive accessory sites (Pioneer has them). And...they don't cost much.
