While it may be obvious to many of you, It took me a few minutes to figure out how to remove the roof racks. Simply open the rear hatch, slide the two 5" X 1/2" black plastic plugs rearward about a 1/2 inch, and the plug should pop out. Release and slide the bars all the way back to the opening, and pop them out. Replace the plugs, and PRESTO! Reduced wind drag and less weight. Plus a cleaner, "bald" look. Installation, as always, is the reverse of these steps. It's easier if you have a helper on the other side of the truck.
Sorry if this is too obvious, I did it the hard way taking out all of the screws. Mother MOPAR didn't see fit to include this in the owners manual. It's a real nice forum you have here.. Very informative. Thanks for the tips!
