We just got our D 2 1/2 weeks ago and I'm paranoid about those pretty blue door sills getting scratched. I find myself watching people's feet as they enter and exit the D, worried that they might graze the paint and leave a blemish.
Anyway, could you please describe how the guards look? Are they attractive? Can they be removed for occassional cleaning of the surface underneath? And finally, how much for all 4 doors?
