sorry to hear about your misfortune. Interesting, or coincidental, but I was born in October, and historically October has been a bad luck month for me. Not superstitious at all, but you buy my spare, head back to chicago, a few days later roll your D. Me, I let someone detail mine, and I wind up with a burned engine bay with lots of wiring damage. Kinda strange. Kinda weird, ala the TwiLight Zone.
Anyway, I'm driving a loaner--a 2000 4.7 L V-8 with 300 miles on it and I love it. The CPR is nice, but this is an SLT model without leather or upgraded radio system. Anyway, it drives very smooth.
Good luck with AFI. We had them back in 1994 and hated them. Go with State Farm or AllState or even Geico---all are reliable with claims.
