I don't know how the laws are written where you are but I would imagine they are simular to the Lemon Laws here in PA. Here after three times with the same problem it qualifies for Lemon Law. The lawyers get paid by the auto manufactures, not the consumers so there is nothing to loose. I ended up only getting $500 and my warranty extended to 75k miles but I also had 35k miles on it when it started acting up. I also did not have the paint problems or lack of full disclosure like you did with the hood being painted. I would look into it.
