I recommend getting a decent sset of solid ones, though. the stock ones are too easy to loosen the covers on, then the tire iron will strip the nut if it is tight at all... then how will you change that tire???
By the way, i also carry a plug kit, and a small 12V pump. I am looking into making an airhose with 2 ends on it, so i can steal some air from the 3 good tires if i ever have to fix a flat. Plugging is MUCH easier that changing a tire, and the air hose I am gonna make up will make airing up a snap! Maybe I should make these, and sell them... perhaps with a plug kit... good idea...
I think there is 1 with a loose cover, and one with no cover. Missing one, which was stripped along with the stud. Stud replacement easy, but I am dissappointed that it stripped. Took a good 5 minutes with an impact wrench to get it off, with wd-40! 5 minutes is a LONG time to be impacting a nut. 1-2 seconds is WAY TOO long when installing lugnuts. If using the air wrench, i do not let the wrench do any more than snug the nut, I then use a wratchet to give it the final tightening, which is usually about 1/2 turn more than when i pull the air wrench off it.
