Don't know for sure, but I don't think it's really 'fading'. I think it's the residue from waxing the vehicle. Anyway, that's the case for me -- it is much less pronounced since I started using Zaino Bros. products. Using any one of the 'synthetic'waxes (like Zaino or Finish First) will help.
