I am picking up my 2K D this week or next and have been checking into extended warranties.
The one you can purchase from your dealer runs $1,100 or so. However, the one you can purchase from Geico costs $39 per 6 months. It seems that is goes for 100K miles and when you hit 100K miles, you call and cancel it off your insurance. This seems really great for those of us who drive a lot of miles!
Farmers insurance has something similar but has not given me a quote yet... I think I'm going this way, and in 4 or 5 years when I hit 100K, I'll drop the coverage and then it will have only cost me $312 to $390...
