Where are good front tie downs for canoe?

I have the Yakima top rack canoe carrier and use straps to attach boat to rack, tow hitch holes to tie rear of boat, but I can't find a good place to hook into the front end under the front bumper to run a line to the front of the boat. Any suggestions where or what to hook into?
