ABS issues...

Hello gang...

I am hoping maybe Arnold or someone else may be able to provide some advice.

I have a 99 Durango with rear ABS. I also have Michelin LTX AT 32x11.50x15 tires on the stock 15x8 rims.

I am experiencing intermitent ABS functionality. I have noticed on wet surfaces about 50% of the time, the rear wheels will lock up and the ABS computer fails to pulsate the break system. When I took the D in for service, the tech found a FAIL CODE: 61, and he replaced one of the rear wheel sensors. I was told the problem was fixed. I got into a discussion with the service manager and service tech regarding why my ABS system did not indicate a prolem? It was during this discussion, I was told after the new sensor is in place, he was still getting the same fail code... but they told me the Durango was fixed.

My inclination is to get a factory/zone tech rep involved to take my problem to the next level since the service manager was prepared to let me drive away believing the problem was solved when it was not.

I need to know if anyone has a similar ABS issue and if they have specific info which I might be able to use in speaking with my service department.

Thanks in advance! If possible, please send you responses to me email address also.

Thanks

PS... does anyone experience what I will call "accelerator pedal waggle" when driving on rough/bumpy roads?
