: I have long felt that the rear of my CPR 5.9+ looked unfinished without something nice there. I have the Mopar grillguard (thanks Arnold) and Mopar shades on all the side windows. I had some pinstripes done when I bought the vehicle and included outlining the "U" on the hood and the oval on the tailgate. (Almost installed a rear dust deflector but returned it after a trial fitting). I am not yet ready to add a new catback exhaust system (jury still seems to be out as to which system actually improves power without producing drone.) So I went to my friendly Meineke shop and picked out a really sharp 3"plus exhaust tip. Had it welded on (hey this is New York). It looks really phat. (comes straight out -about 1" past the bumper but not as far out as the towing receiver) It can be seen even from across a parking lot and adds IMHO what was missing to the rear. Looks much better than the drooping/ rusty factory tailpipe. Maurice Simckes

Will it have any affect on the plastic bumber? Heat won't melt it or dis-color?
