Same thing happened on my rear-driver's side window about six months ago. It worked sometimes and didn't others. Then it quit alltogether--wouldn't work from the front or the back. I took it in to the dealer and they replaced the motor without a question. You probably should go ahead and get it taken care of now, so you won't be out and about if/when it goes dead.
