I got the factory tow group, and it's a 7 pin arrangement plug socket for connecting the trailer, and the socket to connect the brake controller is under the left side dash. I never found a "pigtail", I think the manual is referring to the wiring that is under the dash, for the brake controller to plug into.

: Just purchased my 1st Durango. The dealer was supposed to put the Tow Package (minus the HD group) on as part of the deal. I thought this was going to be OEM equipment. Well come to find out the used all aftermarket equipment, which was not satisfactory to my standards.

: To make a short story shorter, I installed the wiring harness (paid by dealer) myself. I also demanded the 4 wire pig tail used to hook up the electric brakes. However, I can not find the connector the pigtail is supposed to plug into. I know D with tow packages should have the plug under the dash just left of the steering column. The question is, if the D didn't come from the factory with the tow package does it have the 4-wire pigtail connector under the dash.
