That why there used to be 4 barrel carbs. That's why they sell bored out throttle bodies for vettes, mustangs, etc. That's why there are modified TB's for the D that flow more air.
Because that stock unit is big enough...
if you don't put on Tony's intake, and cat-back, & headers.. all things to improve the flow, then stock may be fine.
To get more HP you need to improve the flow all the way through.
