My 98 pings sometimes, a high pitched sound, for maybe 30 seconds or so. The sound increases with tire rotation speed and no sound in neutral. The sound is like tapping a metal pipe. Thought it might have something to do with newly installed headers, but I'm thinking drivetrain now. Any ideas out there ? Doesn't happen all the time. Most notably when cold and has sat for a while.
