Yes. Leather is fantastic. I have it in two trucks.
You can just wipe off all of those kid related spills that are going to happen. Sure, you get decent results with Scotchgaurd, but not as easy as leather. You can just hand back a few napkins.
If someone gets in with a pencil or screwdriver in their pocket, it could rip either cloth or leather. Either one can be repaired by a trim shop.
