Marc,
As you have seen so far it's about an even split. The thing to remember is you have to factor in each variable for your situation.
1. Kids, how old and how responsible.
2. Dog, how well manored, and how well are his/her nails kept up.
3. Weather, are you in an extremely warm or hot climate.
4. Purpose of vehicle--is it for "soccer mom" type stuff, off roading, cargo hauler, personel carrier, and last but not least is it the primary or secondary vehicle (where the kids are concerned especially.)
Closing note, if an accident does happen and a hole is put into the leather, are you willing to put forth the $$ to get it fixed ($28+ is a lot to invest, and I'm sure you want it too look its best
: Getting close to pulling the trigger on a new D. Looking at the leather interior, but we have a big lab and two kids and I was wondering if the group had any opinions/experience with how the leather might hold up in this situation, or how their leather or cloth has held up in general. Thanks in advance
