This was one of the reasons I picked a 98 over the 99 (got mine in August98). The 98 SLT + had Leather as an option--One I didn't want with two kids and a cat(althought the cat is never in it, and even if he was he'd be kenneled.) With kids I HIGHLY recommend cloth over leather. If they are school age all it takes is a pencil in a back pocket and you'll feel sick. This would mean for a 99 you would have to go with an SLT with out the +(but you can still get most of the same options). Only had one "spill"--passanger with a can of pepsi. Cleaned up nicely.
: Getting close to pulling the trigger on a new D. Looking at the leather interior, but we have a big lab and two kids and I was wondering if the group had any opinions/experience with how the leather might hold up in this situation, or how their leather or cloth has held up in general.
