(aka BigRick)

About Ricardo and his 'D'

Hello D owners, my name is Ricardo "BigRick" Reyes, I’m 28 and I own a black 2001 Durango, 5.9, R/T, AWD with the tow package. I live in York, PA with my wife Amy, daughter Tiara, (10 going on 25) son Marcus, (5 going on 18) and two pitbulls, Bear, 4 and Haley, 1.

I enjoy driving the D and showing it off, playing Texas Hold Em (All In), fishing and getting drunk. I’ve been into modding my cars since I was 17 when I owned a 63 Chevy Impala which had 14" Dayton spoke wheels, hydraulics, and a full stereo system. (Man I miss that car) I work for National Interlock and am PA’s state head technician. In my spare time I breed my pitbulls and work with Roland With Sounds.

I purchased my D back in Oct 2004 and didn’t want to do a whole lot to it. I started out with some 22" rims, 5% limo tint, a cheap grill and some headlights. I soon came across the DOC when I met Bob Roland from Roland With Sounds here in York, PA. He introduced me to Tyrone in MD who had a platinum D that was tricked out pretty nice. So I installed a touch screen Kenwood KVT-915 and two visor screens. Not too long after, I went to my first show with the D, the All Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA, where I met a great group of guys (DOC) and won 1st place in our showfield. I was stunned to be honest as there were some very nice D’s there. I was also bitten at that moment. I figured if I wanted to keep competing against D’s like Rick’s (2KRT), I had to step my mods up a little. So the D goes in to the shop to get some work done.

It was supposed to just be a fiberglass enclosure and a couple of 12's. The longer it took, the more I added. Next thing you know I have:

Kenwood KVT-915 DVD 7" touch screen LCD monitor, Kenwood KDC-C719 10 disc changer, Kenwood KCA-Ip500 iPod interface, Kenwood KCA-5210A multi disc changer accessory unit, Kenwood CX-SR40 Sirius flat antenna, Kenwood KTC-SR903 Sirius Satellite radio tuner unit, Sony Playstation 2 with Maxtor 200 gig hard drive, two Yzen Sublevel 5 12" subwoofers YW512, Yzen YA-X500 mono block subwoofer amplifier, Yzen YA-450 4-channel amplifier, 4 sets of Crossfire X-6 separate components midrange & tweeters, 1 set of Crossfire 4 -inch midrange separates & tweeters, 15 sq-ft of Dynomat, four 22" Hipnotik Phantom, four BF Goodrich 295/40R22 G-force T/A tires, Keystone rear hatch wing, billet chrome fuel door, Superchips 3715 ECU programmer, Fastman 52mm throttle body, K&N FIPK cold air intake, Flowmaster 50 series muffler, 5 yds of Gucci material for the seats and door panels, black suede headliner, interior panels custom painted to match factory paint, 14" TFT LCD flip-down TV, two 8" TFT LCD sun visor TVs, three 8" Eigervision TFT LCD TVs, two Diamond euro clear headlights, two Diamond euro clear corner lights, two Depo carbon fiber Altezza tail lights, Ichibahn carbon fiber pedals, Shadow wiper cowl (not installed yet), custom center console, custom arm rests, 60 gig iPod photo, accent window tint (all windows), Silverstar light bulbs, Scytek 5100 remote start/security system, yellowtop Optima battery, Stinger platinum battery terminals & fuse blocks, 4 sets of Phoenix gold hi-end auto phase correcting RCA plugs, Street Scenes chrome grill inserts and 2-piece grill, Westin chrome brush guard, Westin chrome side rails, Alumapro 5 farad capacitor, 0-gauge Stinger power wire & terminals, DJM 3" lowering blocks, Cal-Max drop shocks wrapped in Gucci vinyl, 4" stubby antenna and 2007 rear wiper mod (thanks Indy!)
