We bought our 'D' in January of 2000 with 21,000 miles on the odometer. Since then we've put about 17,000 miles on it and have loved every minute! Our 'D' is a 1998 SLT, 5.2 L, 4x4, FG/Grey Cloth with 3rd row seat, body side moldings, fog lamps, and cast aluminum wheels. The list of accessories we've added include: Thule Lapland (European) overhead rack with Thule Rack pads (U.S), Warn X8000i winch with remote and a receiver mount, Ram's head (Black) receiver cover, Pioneer MEH-P7150 mini-disk stereo receiver with remote, Code Alarm car security system, Westin (Black) side steps, and a Draw-Tite front receiver. A Rancho 3" suspension lift kit and a set of RS5000 shocks are currently on order.

My family and I are serving a three-year tour in Bangkok with the U.S. Department of State and we've trekked all over Thailand and Cambodia on wild weekends. Most recently, we visited a small resort near the Thai/Burma border. We love the spaciousness of the 'D' and like to take our mountain bikes on our Draw-Tite 2-bike rack into the wilds of Thailand. We're also looking forward to returning to the good old U.S. to get some more American dirt on the 'D' once again!
