Marion Royal

Thank you for nominating my Intense Blue 98 D for Durango of the Month. I'm not sure we deserve it, but it's sure some nice company to keep. I'm a proud husband, father, and public servant in Washington D.C. and, although I'll always call Charleston S.C. my home, I've spent some "quality time" in Northern Virginia (14 yrs.)

My D is a '98 5.2L SLT+ with a number of goodies added, the most noticeable being a sunroof (with an overhead rear A/C!) My wife has been oh so understanding as I've added the following performance equipment with only one goal....to improve gas mileage. (Yeah, right! :-) - Ed.)

Intense Performance Stage III Intake, F&B Throttle Body, Intense Performance Fuel Rails, Jacobs Ignition, Mopar Headers, Mopar Cat-back (muffler replaced with a Flowmaster 50 SUV), Mopar Performance PCM, Manik Brush Guard, V-Tech Tail & Marker light covers, and Prestigious Pony Running Boards.

Although I have certainly noticed performance improvements, the gas mileage is still not exactly what I was trying for, so...I'll keep working on it.
