About Steve and his 'D'

Steve bought his D in early 1998 - as a replacement for a GMC Suburban that had served it's duty carrying a family of 3 kids, along with towing their boat and jet ski - and joined the club in October of 1998. The D was a perfect choice, given it's people capacity and towing capabilities. He bought the Four wheel drive model because it was the only one available and, although it wasn't needed too much on the flat ground around Dallas, it was definitely a must-have when he transferred to Hingham, Massachusetts in 1998.

Steve worked as the Account Manager for a large Information Technology company for over 10 years, but has since taken a respite from working to relax and just hang out. Word is he's now ready to begin the entrance process back into the world of the gainfully employed.

Steve has always enjoyed modifying his vehicles, and the D suffered the same fate from day one. Corporate sponsor AAC provided the first add-on options including a grill guard, lights and a cat-back exhaust. Since then, the D has been the subject of an ongoing process of improving and upgrading most components. He's always quick to thank those that've helped him along the way, although there isn't enough room on this page to list them all.

Steve qualified for 'D' of the Month for his ongoing contributions to the club. He added the new Durango Parts section to the Member's Area, and took over responsibility for the Just 'D' FAQs page.
