About Al and his 'D' Al likes working with computer systems and software, especially helping others figure out what's "really" wrong when their system suddenly starts acting up, as well as traveling, sight-seeing and skiing, primarily in Europe. He also loves "any" excuse to drive his D! He retired from the United States Air Force on 1 July 99, after 22 years of active duty doing Computer/Telecomm systems maintenance & repair, and is currently enjoying the "retired life" in his hometown of 46 years, Altavista VA. He intends to enter the "real world" (i.e. civilian) workforce sometime after the first of the year in the computer field.
