About Tim and his 'D'

Tim was raised an Air Force brat and settled in LA after an initial 7 year stint as an Army officer in Germany and Los Angeles. He manages contracting for a large segment of TRW's Systems and Integration Technology Group in Manhatten Beach, CA. He stayed in LA after deciding to work for TRW, but remained in the Army Reserves, rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and being mobilized in 1997 for the Bosnia operation but that's another story entirely!

He lives in one of Playa del Rey's oldest "Spanish Revival" homes, built in 1926, right at the beach just south of Marina del Rey in LA's Westside. The D had to pass the garage test before he made the offer - since he is sure his garage was designed for two Model A's. It passed - barely.

Tim loves to take his D to the woods and the desert, especially exploring off road. But not so far that he has to spend the next day with a pack of Q Tips cleaning out all the dirt from everywhere! Tim especially enjoys towing his 26' trailer to new campsites. Since the trailer's red accents "match" the Flame Red Durango, "I get looks wherever I roll"!
